Tasti Products Ltd is extending its earlier significant recall of a range of Tasti brand bars, peanuts, snack ball, etc products as the affected items may contain foreign matter (small metal pieces).
The earlier recall was issued by the company on 21 Sept., 2025 and supported by the New Zealand Food Safety.

The affected products recalled in the new list announced today include various batch markings and various date markings of Tasti Smooshed, Tasti Snak Log, and Frooze Filled Balls.

Tasti products are sold at supermarkets and retailers throughout New Zealand and some affected products have also been exported to Australia, Singapore, Fiji and India. New Zealand Food Safety has informed food safety authorities in those countries.
Affected recalled product should not be consumed. There have been no reports of associated injury, however, if you have consumed any of these products and have any concerns about your health, seek medical advice, says New Zealand Food Safety(NZFS).
Customers should contact tasti@tasti.co.nz with a photo of the product and best before date for a replacement voucher. “If that’s not possible, throw them out,” says New Zealand Food Safety(NZFS).
