New Zealand Food Safety is asking people the affected products should not be consumed unless the product is cooked thoroughly.

Customers should return the products to their retailer for a full refund  or cook thoroughly (piping hot all the way through).

There have been no reports of illness, however, if you have consumed any of these products and have any concerns about your health, seek medical advice.

Getting listeriosis is rare, but it can be life-threatening, especially for high-risk groups. Caused by the bacterium Listeria, listeriosis is most dangerous for those who are pregnant, newborns, older people and anyone with a weakened immune system.
