With over 5500 ordinary votes cast today – the last date of the close of voting, Tim Macindoe emerged as the frontrunner to become the city’s new Mayor in the progress results announced today.

The progress results include all votes received by the electoral office in Auckland by the close of voting at midday Saturday (11 October), but excludes special votes and votes received from Council offices and libraries on election day morning.
